Mr. Seth Matteson
Seth is currently serving as a College Academic Advisor in the College of Health and Human Services. Currently, he specifically works with students within the Departments of Applied Health Sciences and Applied Medicine & Rehabilitation. He advises students within the majors of: Dietetics, Food Service Management, Health Sciences (including the five concentrations: Environmental Health, Public Health, Health Administration, Health Communications, and Health Psychology), Human Development & Family Studies, and Athletic Training (Clinical and Applied Medicine concentrations)
He has actively been involved in various aspects of higher education during his own undergraduate and graduate education, including: Residential Life, Admissions, the Student Counseling Center, and the Career Center. He has been a part of various organizations on campus throughout his tenure as a student; including: Residence Hall Area Councils (now LEAF Hall councils), Residence Hall Association (RHA), and Advocates for Equality (now Spectrum). As a graduate student, he also served as a student member of ACPA (College Student Educators International, formerly American College Personnel Association) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student chapter..
He currently serves as an active member in ACPA (since 2014) and NACADA (National Academic Advising Association, since 2016).
