Traditional 4 Year Campus Track - BSN

For students entering without RN or LPN licensure

  • 4-year program of study
  • Combines
    • Theory and clinical nursing courses
    • Required support courses
    • Foundational Studies courses

There are two application cycles (spring and fall) each year for our Traditional Four-year Track and admission is competitive.
Applicants are ranked using three criteria:

  • Overall cumulative GPA from all institutions
  • Science GPA (anatomy, physiology, chemistry, microbiology and their accompanying labs) and
  • Admission exam scores.

Averages for recently admitted students are:

  • Overall Cumulative GPA from All Institutions: 3.55
  • Science GPA: 3.28
  • Kaplan Admission Test (KAT) Overall Score: 74%

        • Eligibility for Application for RN Licensure-Legal Limitations Notification [7] (signed form)
        • Student Outcomes Assessment Memorandum of Understanding [8] (signed form)
        • Nursing Program Immunization Record [9] (completed and signed by applicant and healthcare provider)
          • Documentation must meet the specifications outlined in the Student Health [10] policy
        • Copy of results of a national level criminal background check [11] (to be completed within three months of application deadline)
        • Proof of current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification for the Healthcare Provider [12]  (include a copy of the signed card - front and back with your application materials)
        • Proof of a negative ten panel drug screening [13] from Right Choice or UAP Clinic – Student Health Center (to be completed within 30 days of application) and signed copy of Addendum A (drug screen policy and procedure acknowledgement form).
  • Advanced Standing
