Public Health General Concentration
Study in the Public Health General Concentration provides you with a solid foundation and background in public health issues.
Through classroom learning and field experiences you receive training in the development of solutions designed to improve and maintain the well-being of the public and their communities.
Included in your study are classes in research into health concepts, substance abuse education, health promotions planning and evaluation, and communicable and chronic diseases.
As a graduate of the Public Health Concentration, you are eligible to take the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) Examination to be certified at the national level.
