The Graduate Exercise Science student
- further develops knowledge and understanding in an area of expertise or interest related to exercise physiology
- meets student needs by focusing coursework on
- neuromuscular physiology
- exercise testing and prescription
- cardiopulmonary physiology
- advanced human biomechanics
- allows students to either complete a thesis (MA) or an internship (MS)
Opportunities exist for graduate assistantships
Career interests include strength coach, exercise physiologists, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, fitness specialists, allied healthcare
