Counseling Services
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers counseling services for Indiana State University employees and their dependents through the ISU Psychology Clinic. The Psychology Clinic is a nonprofit training facility for doctoral students in clinical psychology to receive supervised training from licensed faculty and staff. Two services are offered through the clinic:
Psychotherapy: The clinic is trained to provide individuals, couples, and group psychotherapy, as well as therapy designed specifically for children and their parents.
Evaluations: In addition to the routine evaluations, they offer more extensive psychological evaluations of adults, adolescents, and children. The clinicians also offer a specialty assessment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in school-aged children.
Indiana State University will pay for your first 6 visits to the Psychology Clinic with a confidential referral by Employee Wellness. Contact ISU’s Employee Wellness Coordinator at 812-237-4117 or ISU-EmployeeWellness@indstate.edu.
If you or your dependents prefer to use an off campus provider, EAP will help pay for 3 visits with a confidential referral by Employee Wellness. Contact ISU’s Employee Wellness Coordinator at 812-237-4117 or ISU-EmployeeWellness@indstate.edu.
