2017-18 Excellence in Global Education Awards
Nomination deadline is March 15, 2018.
A reception to announce the winners and celebrate will be held on April 5, 2018.
The Excellence in Global Education Awards are a celebration and recognition of the students, staff, and faculty at Indiana State University who have made bringing the world to our community a priority. The world has gotten smaller as technology links us together in many ways. An important role for us at ISU is to issue an appealing invitation to engage in the world. Our international student population stays strong here at ISU. Our faculty provides travel opportunities to students as part of their course work, and the number of students taking advantage of study abroad continues to grow. None of this happens without the dedication and hard work of people committed to excellence in global education. Every year the Center for Global Engagement recognizes a number of individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to the promotion of international education and exchange and to the support of international students at Indiana State University.
Student Global Scholar and Citizenship Award: The Student Global Scholar and Citizenship award is presented to ISU students that recognizes cumulative superior academic achievement and involvement in campus and community international activities that work toward their respective betterment.
