New Student Transition Programs
The Office of New Student Transition Programs (NSTP) coordinates orientation programs for all first-year and transfer, domestic and international students as well as Commuter Life, with a concentration on the transition of new students to Indiana State University. The office also provides oversight of State Welcome and, in collaboration with other campus units, events such as Sycamore Welcome and March through the Arch.
New Student Orientation
All new undergraduate students are required to attend New Student Orientation. Our orientation provides students with vital information for a successful transition to STATE! All students will be charged a non-refundable New Student Orientation fee on their student bill. Undergraduate students enrolled in any online-only major or program are required to complete the online orientation.
August 16 - September 21, 2019
Fall Welcome kicks off another semester at Indiana State University, and whether you're new to campus or returning, we encourage you to experience as much as possible. As a new student, getting connected and involved on campus is a great way to feel at home. There are events each day from which to choose, so get out there and get to know campus, your new friends, and your new home a bit better! And share it with us by using #StateWelcome19!
Welcome to the Family!
