Sycamore Safe Zone Level 2

Sycamore SafeZone (SSZ) is an ally development program created to establish a campus that is safe and affirming for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) students, faculty and staff. Intermediate Level 2 - Sycamore Ally - This level of training is designed to provide participants with information that will help them become better informed allies for the LGBTQ community. Participants must have completed a Safe Zone workshop at ISU or another college or university within the last year.

Sycamore SafeZone (SSZ) is an ally development program created to establish a campus that is safe and affirming for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) students, faculty and staff. Advanced Level 3 - Sycamore Advocates - Advanced Safe Zone trainings are designed for participants who have completed Safe Zone 101 and Sycamore Ally portions of Safe Zone. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of specific target topics and identities while focusing on sexual orientation vs.

Build a Bear - International Day of Happiness

What is the International Day of Happiness? It’s a day to be happy, of course. Since 2013, the United Nations has celebrated the International Day of Happiness as a way to recognize the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world. The Annual Holiday is officially on March 20, 2021. Students can pick up the bear they want which makes them happy. Sponsored by: Multicultural Services and Programs.

International House Party

This program was designed to introduce the ISU community to our students, staff, and faculty from other countries. Each month we have hosted a different country. Students, faculty, and/or staff will present information about their rich culture. This year we will visit our friends from different countries in their own current space virtual, to see what they have makes them feel they are in their home. Through ZOOM MEETING.

International Women's Day

Women everywhere, motivated by their great desires for a better world, can make significant improvements in homes, communities, and nations as they participate in a global community and movement of like-minded women.
