Dr. Elonda Ervin

Dr. Elonda Ervin, an Indiana State University graduate and administrator, serves currently as the Executive Director of the Office of Multicultural Services and Programs. Prior to coming to Indiana State University, Elonda was an administrator at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 15 years. Before coming to ISU, she served as adjunct faculty and lecturer at Ivy Tech Community College, Purdue University Calumet and Indiana University Northwest. In this inaugural position, she leads four student resource centers (LGBTQ, La Casita, International, and Women’s). Elonda has spent the past 12 years at Indiana State University. During this time, she has served as advisor to several Greek and student organizations to increase persistence among those diverse populations. Elonda was also the Career Center Associate Director then Director. After that position, she was tasked with being the University Diversity Officer. A Gary native, Elonda holds two degrees from Indiana State University - a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology. She earned her Master's Degree in Communication from Purdue University-Calumet and a Paralegal Certificate from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
