MyISU Portal
The MyISU Portal offers access to online registration, student University records, e-mail, and other services. Once admitted, students should activate their University Username on the MyISU Portal.

The MyISU Portal offers access to online registration, student University records, e-mail, and other services. Once admitted, students should activate their University Username on the MyISU Portal.
- Go to isuportal.indstate.edu
- Then click "Activate Your University Username."
IMPORTANT: Students will need their University ID Numbers (found on their acceptance letters), date of birth, and the last four digits of Social Security Number.
Transfer Credits
Upon completion of the admission process, academic advisors review students' transcripts to determine which credits will transfer. Students should contact their advisors to discuss their transferable credits and plan their schedules for the semester.

Registration
Courses (and instructions) are located in the Class Schedule on the MyISU Portal.
Bookstore
Visit the ISU bookstore to purchase textbooks and other course materials.
Student ID Card
Once admitted, students must obtain their student identification cards (ID) to access University services.

The e-mail must include:
- Student's name
- Student's 991 number
- Student's complete mailing address (street and/or post office box)
Starting Courses
Online courses: To access courses, log on to the MyISU Portal and click the "My Courses" tab. Typically, courses are not accessible until the first day of class.
On-campus courses: Dates, times, and locations are listed in the class schedule.
Sycamore Express
Sycamore Express provides one-stop answers and assistance for currently enrolled ISU students. Once admitted and registered for classes, students should visit and bookmark this site for assistance with billing and finances, graduation, and more.
I don’t see my courses on Blackboard.
If you have enrolled in classes and activated your ISU portal but still can’t see your course, it may be because the instructor has not “unlocked” the course for viewing. If you still cannot see the course after the first day of class, be sure to call our student services team as soon as possible.
What is MyISU portal?
The MyISU Portal is vehicle by which you will register for classes, check your grades, pay your tuition, and get general announcements.
How do I activate the MyISU portal account?
Go to the MyISU Portal and click “Activate Your University Username”. Enter the University ID Number sent in your admission letter, your date of birth and the last four digits of your social security number.
