Deadlines, Refund and Grading Policies Fall 2017

Late Registration

Contact your academic advisor for advisement and to obtain your advisement PIN.

A $100 Late Registration Fee will be assessed to students who initially register on or after the first day of the semester, regardless of the course start date.

Drop/Add

A $30 Change of Schedule Fee will be assessed on days in which a student makes adjustments to their schedule, effective the first start date of the course(s).  Refunds will be given according to the refund schedule on this page.

The last day to add classes for 16-week courses is August 28, 2017. Instructor's signatures or overrides are required only if the class is full.

Classes may be dropped from your schedule without signatures as follows: 

November 6th   16 Week (8/22/2017 to 12/15/2017)
September 29th   1st 8-Week (8/22/2017 to 10/13/2017) 
November 30th   2nd 8-Week (10/16/2017 to 12/15/2017)   

Refunds will be given according to the timeline below. If you are dropping all your classes, you must withdraw for the semester. Go to Withdrawal Information for additional information.

September 2 - September 4  25%  W

2nd 8-Week (10/16/2017 to 12/15/2017)

Through October 19  100%  Not Eligible for Grade 
October 20 - October 22  75%  W
October 23 - October 26  50%  W
October 27 - October 29  25%  W
October 30 or later  No Refund   W

Grade Definitions

  • Not Eligible for Grade - No grade assigned, not listed on transcript, not calculated in gpa.
  • W - Withdraw - W is listed on transcript for classes withdrawn from the term, or dropped, not calculated in gpa.

Withdrawals
