Camp/Conference and Guest Housing

If you are considering offering a new overnight camp or conference, or if you wish to relocate your camp or conference, Indiana State Residential Life would like to partner with you for success! We are proud of our long history in providing spaces for groups to gather each summer. We are able to host groups of various sizes, from the extra-large using all our residence halls (3000+ capacity), to small or medium groups that may only need a few rooms or floors within one building. ISU affiliation is not required to host your event with us. Camps and conference housing is available from late May through the end of July. In partnership with ISU Dining, we are able to meet all your meal needs as well. We work closely with ISU Conference and Event Services to help with any other arrangements you may need while you are on campus. When you are planning and considering options for your overnight camp or conference please contact us to learn more about what we have to offer.

Commitment to our Guests

Our Mission in Residential Life is to connect people by providing residential communities, services and learning opportunities. Providing spaces for overnight camps and conferences is an important part of our mission. We want our work with camp/conference directors to be a partnership for success where our goal is to provide the best possible overnight experience for our guests. We have staff dedicated to your event from earliest planning stages through arrival and check-out to wrapping up any billing questions. When guests are on campus we provide around the clock support and emergency response. One of the special partnership opportunities we have to help your camp budget is chaperone room rates. In recognition of all the hard work chaperones do with minor campers, extra-low single room chaperone rates are offered for those camp staff dedicated as chaperones staying on the floors with minor campers. The number of chaperones needed will vary depending on the age range of your campers, but all dedicated chaperones will be charged at the special rate. We are also able to offer discounts for large groups (200 or more guests). Although guests are welcome to bring their own, all our camp/conference rates include the use of a linen pack with sheets sized to fit our extra-long twin beds. We know developing an affordable camp budget can be difficult so we want to be a good partner and help where possible.

Accommodation Options

We offer a variety of room types to fit your housing needs. Our most popular room type for camps and conferences is a double room with private bathroom (this room type offers a hotel room-like experience). We also offer more budget conscious double rooms with pod bathrooms off the floor hallways (the summer camp take on a traditional college experience). Single room rates are also available and are typically reserved for adult groups or camp staff. We also have select apartment spaces available for adult groups, VIP staff, camp instructors, etc. All of our buildings are air conditioned. Meeting room spaces are available in our buildings for camp staff offices, small group meetings, presentations, camp equipment storage, etc.
