Schedule of Occupancy 2016-2017

Sunday, August 14^th

Halls open for Academic Learning Community students only. Students will be assigned specific times regarding the move-in process if they are accepted into the Academic Learning Community.

Friday, August 19^th

All halls will open for Fall Semester housing. Students will be assigned specific days and times regarding the move in process. First contract meal served is lunch, Friday, August 19^th.

Tuesday, August 23^rd

Classes begin. No show date. Room must be claimed by 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 23^rd or student will lose housing assignment and be placed in a temporary housing assignment. This does not eliminate a student’s financial obligation as specified in the contract.

Monday, September 5^th

Labor Day. No day or evening classes. All University offices will be closed.

Saturday, November 19^th

Halls close at 12:00 noon for Fall Break.
Last contract meals served; Sycamore and Lincoln Dining close on Friday November 18^th after lunch. Credits can be used in Generations beginning after lunch on November 19^th until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22^nd.

Sunday, November 27^th

Halls open 12:00 noon.
First contract meal served will be Sunday evening in the HMSU Commons.
Sycamore and Lincoln Dining open for breakfast on Monday.

Saturday, December 17^th

Halls close at 12:00 noon.
Contract meals continue through Friday, December 16^th, 2:00 p.m. in the HMSU Commons.

Thursday, January 12^th

New students arrive. Halls open 12:00 noon.
First contract meal served will be Sunday evening in HMSU Commons.

Sunday, January 15^th

Returning students arrive. Halls open 12:00 noon for all returning students.

Tuesday, January 17^th

Classes begin. No show date. Room must be claimed by 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 23^rd or student will lose housing assignment and be placed in a temporary housing assignment. This does not eliminate a student’s financial obligation as specified in the contract.

Saturday, March 11^th

Halls close at 12:00 noon for Spring Break.
Last contract meal served will be Friday evening in the HMSU Commons.
Sycamore and Lincoln Dining close after lunch.

Sunday, March 19^th

Halls open at 12:00 noon.
First contract meal served will be Sunday evening in the HMSU Commons.
Sycamore and Lincoln Dining open for breakfast on Monday.

Saturday, May 13^th

Halls close at 12:00 noon. Contract meals continue through Friday, May 12^th, 2:00 p.m. in the HMSU Commons.
