Saturday, May 11

Transition to summer housing period. Students continuing with us into summer housing remain in spring housing assignment.

Monday, May 13

12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Summer school and late-stay students move to summer assignments.

Monday, May 27

Memorial Day. No day or evening classes. All University Offices are closed.

Thursday, July 4

Independence Day. No day or evening classes. All University Offices are closed.

Friday, August 2

12:00 pm (noon)

Summer term ends. Students living on-campus housing must check out by noon. Students continuing with on-campus housing during the interim period and through the fall semester remain in summer room.

Sunday, August 11

12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Transition from summer to fall housing assignment.

 

Fall 2019

Sunday, August 11

12 pm – 2 pm

Halls open for early-start Living Learning Communities and Project Success Communities (by invitation only) – Summer School students transition to fall housing assignments.

Friday, August 16

9 am – 3 pm

Halls open for incoming first-year and transfer students on designated floors. Students are assigned designated arrival times. First contract meal served is lunch.

Saturday, August 17

9 am – 3 pm

Halls open for incoming first-year and transfer students on designated floors. Students are assigned designated arrival times.

Sunday, August 18

9 am – 3 pm

Halls open for returning students. Students are assigned designated arrival times.

Monday, September 2

Labor Day. No day or evening classes. All University Offices are closed.

Friday, October 4

Fall Break. No day or evening classes. All University Offices remain open.

Saturday, November 23

12:00 pm (noon)

Halls close for Thanksgiving Break. Last contract meal served; Sycamore and Lincoln Dining close on Friday, November 22nd after lunch. Credits can be used in the HMSU Commons beginning after lunch on November 23rd until 1:30 pm on Tuesday, November 26th.

Sunday, December 1

12:00 pm (noon)

Halls open after Thanksgiving Break. First contract meal served will be dinner in the HMSU Commons. Sycamore and Lincoln Dining open for breakfast on Monday, December 2nd.

Saturday, December 14

12:00 pm (noon)

Halls close for Semester Break. Contract meals continue through Friday, December 13th, 2:00 pm in the HMSU Commons.

 

Spring 2020

Wednesday, January 8 – Friday, January 10

12 pm – 2 pm daily

Students withdrawing from the University and/or Academically Dismissed students must check out during these designated days/times.

Wednesday, January 8

12 pm – 2 pm

Halls open for incoming first-year and transfer students only! No contract meal service until dinner on Sunday, January 12th.

Sunday, January 12

12:00 pm (noon)

Halls open for returning students. First contract meal served will be dinner in the HMSU Commons.

Tuesday, January 14

6:00 pm

First day of classes. No show date. Room must be claimed by 6:00 pm. Failure to claim room may result in student being moved to “space reserved.” Failure to claim room does not forfeit student’s financial responsibility for contract period.

Saturday, March 21

12:00 pm (noon)

Halls close for Spring Break. Last contract meal served will be dinner on Friday, March 20th in the HMSU Commons. Sycamore and Lincoln Dining close after lunch.

Sunday, March 29

12:00 pm (noon)

Halls open after Spring Break. First contract meal served will be dinner in the HMSU Commons. Sycamore and Lincoln Dining open for breakfast on Monday, March 30th.

Saturday, May 9

12:00 pm (noon)

Halls close for the semester.  Contract meals continue through 2:00 pm in the HMSU Commons.

Sunday, May 10

12:00 pm (noon)

Graduate seniors must be checked out by noon.
