Work Orders

Students are expected to report routine maintenance issues by using the online work order system. For those situations requiring immediate attention (i.e., overflowing toilet, broken lock door, shattered window, malfunctioning smoke detector), students should instead contact the front desk or the staff member on duty.

When submitting a work order request, please provide as much information as possible so that the residential life team can complete the repairs as quickly as possible.

Submit a Work Order

We've updated and simplified our work orders system!  For complete instructions on submitting a new work order, see below.

Step 1.
Log in to the housing portal using your University Username and Password.

Step 2.
Select "Maintenance" at the top left hand corner of the screen.

Step 3.
Select "New Work Order" to submit a new work order for your spot.

Step 4.
Select the category your work order falls under, then select the specific item that needs work.  Can't find your specific issue? Select the closest one you can, and specify the problem in the "Description" section.
Check the box allowing staff to enter your room when you are not there (if you allow this).
Use the "Comments" section to tell staff when you would PREFER they stop by, this is not a guarantee.
Select "Save and Continue"

Step 5.
View your work order and track progress on the next page.  You can return to this page at any time to view progress as it is updated.
