The Panhellenic Associaion (PA) is composed of 9 sorority chapters at Indiana State University. The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is the national governance organization for the 9 member organizations on campus. NPC is "focused on advancing the sorority experience," and is "committed to relationships built on trust through transparency, accountability, and mutual respect. Innovation and their core values of friendship, leadership, service, knowledge, integrity, and community guide them in fulfilling that mission." Want more information about the sorority experience? 2022 PA Photo Day

Interested in joining a PA chapter?

The Panhellenic Association hosts a primary recruitment process during the Fall semester, which provide an opportunity for potential members to join the 9 NPC member sororities. This is a mutual selection process where each day potential new members meet representatives from the 9 Panhellenic Association sororities. To be eligible to join a sorority through this process, a potential new member must attend one of the two Panhellenic 101 orientation sessions and participate in the primary recruitment dates, which occurred September 7 - September 11, 2022.

In the event that some organizations do not meet the total number of members they are able to have through the primary recruitment process, they are eligible to host Contiunous Open Bidding (COB) events during late Fall 2022 and throughout Spring 2023 for membership recruitment. If you are interested, you should complete and submit the PA Potential New Member Grade Check Form on TreeHouse, and follow the chapters on social media to learn about opportunities to join.
