The Panhellenic Association (PA) is composed of 9 sorority chapters at Indiana State University. The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is the national governance organization for the 9 member organizations on campus. NPC is "focused on advancing the sorority experience," and is "committed to relationships built on trust through transparency, accountability, and mutual respect. Innovation and their core values of friendship, leadership, service, knowledge, integrity, and community guide them in fulfilling that mission." Want more information about the sorority experience? PA Members

Interested in joining a PA chapter?

The Panhellenic Association hosts a primary recruitment process during the Fall semester, which provide an opportunity for potential members to join the 9 NPC member sororities. This is a mutual selection process where each day potential new members meet representatives from the 9 Panhellenic Association sororities. To be eligible to join a sorority through this process, a potential new member must register and pay a $20 participation fee, should attend one of the two Panhellenic 101 orientation sessions and must participate in the primary recruitment events. The primary recruitment process for the Fall 2023 semester concluded on September 10, 2023.

In the event that some organizations do not meet the total number of members they are able to have through the primary recruitment process, they are eligible to host Continuous Open Bidding (COB) events during late Fall 2023 and throughout Spring 2024 for membership recruitment. If you are interested, you should complete and submit the PA Potential New Member Grade Check Form on TreeHouse, and follow the chapters on social media to learn about opportunities to join. Please note that this is not guaranteed, and anyone interested in joining a PA sorority is highly encouraged to register and participate in the primary recruitment process. Below are some general flyers for chapters that are hosting COB events this Fall:
