Information Center
The Information Center (IC) is located on the first floor of the Hulman Memorial Student Union between The Hub and The Commons. The IC strives to serve the campus community by offering a multitude of services to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors within the building and campus-wide. We offer general information, including directions and phone numbers; lend out laptops to students; information for public transportation options; house a lost and found; offer information regarding events; and help disseminate important information about the University.
The Information Center is open from 7:30 AM – 10 PM Monday through Friday and 8:30 AM – 10 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Operating hours are adjusted around university breaks and holidays.
Student Checkouts
The Information Center is excited to offer a variety of items for students to check out. There are short term (4 hour and no overnight) laptop checkouts, phone and laptop charger lending, and board games available for overnight checkout.
The only items currently available for checkout are wireless USB pointer/clickers associated with reservations in HMSU.
The Information Center also operates the video gaming stations located in The Hub. Currently, we have an Xbox One S, PlayStation 4 Pro, and a Nintendo Switch. Game recommendations can be submitted with the Information Center Desk staff, but we cannot guarantee their addition. A list of games currently available can be found on the Gaming Station page.
For all checkouts: A student ID with both a visible picture and legible University ID number is required to checkout items.

Lost and Found
The Information Center handles lost and found items for the Union and the campus community. Items found on campus or in HMSU can be brought to the IC. Call or visit the Information Center if you have lost an item. Claimants will need to specifically identify their lost item, present a Student ID or government issued ID, and sign legibly. High-value items like wallets, phones, jewelry, etc., are turned over to Public Safety on the day they are received.

Posting Policy
Registered student organizations and ISU campus departments/faculty/staff are encouraged to advertise their events within the Hulman Memorial Student Union. HMSU now offers digital signage throughout the first floor to accommodate a variety of promotional needs. For other customers who do not meet the criteria of a Registered Student Organizations or ISU Campus Departments/faculty/staff, or for those who would like additional advertising opportunities, there are four (4) bulletin boards located in the Commons and one (1) large build-in bulletin board near the Sandison entrance of HMSU. These areas can be utilized without any prior permission. Here is the link to the full positing guidelines:
