Ms. Freda Luers

Director, Campus Life

Freda Luers serves as the Director of Campus Life at Indiana State University. Freda provides oversight for a multitude of programming efforts for our student body, leadership development, student organizations and family programming. She also serves the Co-Director of the Miss Indiana State University Scholarship Program.

Freda received her bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education and her master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Ball State University. In addition to ISU, Freda has also worked at Ball State University and Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. Her responsibilities have included Residential Life, Fraternity/Sorority Life, Student Unions, Women’s Resource Center, instructor for undergraduate and graduate courses, Conduct Officer and Student Activities.

A lifelong resident of Indiana, Freda’s professional affiliations include Association of College Unions –International, National Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities and National Association of Student Personnel Administrators. Freda is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Terre Haute. She is also an avid fan of Sycamore Athletics.
