Volunteer at the Women's Resource Center!
We offer training and programming throughout the entire academic year and we always have a need for volunteers to assist with marketing, promotion, event hosting, execution and follow-up. The time commitment is minimal for volunteers and you design your schedule. We welcome volunteers from all variations including: students, faculty, staff and community members. The Graduate Assistant (GA) is a member of the Women's Resource Center within the Division of Student Affairs. The Women's Resource Center Graduate Assistant’s major function is to assist in the fulfillment of the mission, goals, and objectives of Student Advocacy. The GA must be committed to student learning and capable of responding in a positive manner to a wide variety of situations. They are expected to carry out their responsibilities in a manner that will further the mission, goals, and objectives of the office and the Division of Student Affairs. The GA is supervised by the Director of the Women's Resource Center.
In short, the Graduate Assistant position responsibilities include: Administrative, Needs Assessment, Program Development, Program Implementation, Program Evaluation, Education and Outreach. Please contact Amanda Hobson for further details.
