Heather Dalton Miklozek is the Community Engagement Director. She has been at Indiana State since 2005 in a professional role through Residential Life and Student Activities and Organizations and as a student by receiving her BS in Recreation and Sport Management (1998), MS in Student Affairs and Higher Education (2002), and ABD in Educational Leadership (2015) at Indiana State. Her husband, Frank Miklozek III, and four children Isabel, Adelaide, Sophia, and Frank IV reside in Lewis, IN. She enjoys fostering community relations through the Center and providing students and faculty classroom experiences that will benefit our community and the students overall classroom experience.

Jessica Starr is the Program Coordinator for the Center for Community Engagement. She oversees the Alternative Breaks Program, Stop and Serve, and other service opportunities for students. She has been at Indiana State since 2012 in a professional role. Jessica received her B.S. in Business Management (2004) and M.S. is Human Resource Development (2007) at Indiana State. Jessica enjoys attending Sycamore athletic events with her husband Jason and being active in the community.

Cat Paterson has served as a Faculty Fellow in the Center for Community Engagement since 2008. Her work focuses on Assessment of CCE programs and the Curricular Engagement Survey of Courses. Cat joined the ISU faculty in 1998 and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Medicine and Rehabilitation. She currently teaches Biomedical Ethics and Medical Terminology. Cat, along with her husband Andy, enjoy cooking, entertaining, thoroughbred race horses and college football in her spare time.

Mandy Allen is a Graduate Assistant for Programming in the Center for Community Engagement. She is currently pursuing her M.Ed. in School Counseling and is anticipated to graduate in May of 2017. Mandy graduated with her B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana State University in 2010. Mandy along with her husband Johnathon and their three children Kendal, Carter, and KoraLeigh enjoy traveling, playing games and spending time with family and friends.
