Alternative Fall Break

October 4, 2019- Center Point, Indiana:  The Exotic Feline Rescue Center. The EFRC provides permanent homes for exotic felines that have been abused, abandoned or for some reason have nowhere to live out their lives, while educating the public about these beautiful cats.- cost $20 (open to 20 people).

November 22-26, 2019- Jonesville, Virginia : Appalachia Service Project.  ASP works servicing home repairs, making sure homes are warmer, safer, and drier for low-income families. This trip will be rewarding for those interested in helping others in lower poverty areas and those with a drive to get their hands dirty and giving back! Housing, travel, and food cost is included in trip fees. Cost- $250 (open to 10 people)

 

 for 2019 Appalachia Service Project.

 

 

November 22-26, 2019 - Franklin, Tenessee:  This trip will give students the opportunity to work with Tucker’s Housedeveloped to partner with families of children with disabilities up to the age of 22 years old and their healthcare providers to provide assistance through specialized retrofitting resources so that their houses can become “home”. Housing will be provided in a rental home and meals will be cooked by AFB members.
