Web Services provides technical and strategic leadership to bridge the gap between marketing, communications, and information technology. This team utilizes technology to send the right message to the right audience at the right time. Web Services is both a strategic unit (providing policy recommendations, researching emerging trends, and best practices) and a service unit (producing web sites).
Mobile technology is an ever-evolving space that consistently increases functionality and improves usability on smartphones and tablets. We work closely with OIT to meet the needs of the University and its constituents by providing native applications such as ISU Tour, mobile websites, and responsive websites.
Social Media focuses on building brand awareness and relationships with audiences such as current and prospective students, University faculty and staff, alumni, and the community. University official accounts can be found on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Snapchat.
Our online advertising specialists work towards increasing brand awareness through online tools such as social media, and behavioral and retargeting banner advertisements. We target and reach specific audiences on specific topics to increase overall engagement in the University.
