New Draft – Making edits / creating a revision
Once you are logged in, navigate to the page you want to edit. ( Refer documents login and Navigation)
What you are viewing is the Published Page. You want to make an edit / create a revision of this page
Click on 'New Draft'
Clicking on the New Draft will take you to the Edit Page.
Change the content of Title Box to change the Title of the Page.
The contents of the page go in the body section. We have a WYSIWYG editor to edit the content of the page body. More detailed instructions on WYSIWYG operations will be discussed in the WYSIWYG document. General text edits are simple, just like editing a document in Microsoft Word or Notepad.
Note: Notice that the Text Format will be/should be set to Filtered HTML. If we do not set this as Filtered Html, users below Content Manager Roles like, Content Editors and Content Creators will not be able to make edits to the page.
- Saving the Draft
Once we complete the edits on the page, we want to save it. Scroll down the edit page and click on Revision Information tab. The changes we make will be saved as draft. The draft page is visible only to users logged in. Click ‘Save’
