Unknown / Unknown: uncovering the curiosities of unattributed art
October 1-19, 2018

Featuring work from the Indiana State University Permanent
Art Collection, Unknown/Unknown explores the curiosities
and mysteries associated with unattributed, or wrongly
attributed works of art. Highlighting the often unique physical
state while also engaging in a discussion of disputed
provenances, this exhibition seeks to uncover the hidden
surprises that are often buried in the depths of a collection.

The concept for this exhibition was created by the following
