Kent Sallaz had always had a strong passion for all sides of the music industry at a young age. From recording high school bands to working on instruments, if it involved audio Kent was interested. He chose Indiana State's Music Business degree as it bridged the gap between a love of music and more traditional business background. At college he volunteered at music festivals, promoted concerts on campus, and was a chair on the Music Industry Association board. Upon completing his classes, Kent interned at Engine Recording Studios in Chicago. There he received a crash-course in recording and the operations of a major label studio. Since graduating, Kent has been a Sales Engineer at Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne Indiana. In the same spirit as his degree, Sweetwater has offered Kent the ability to bridge passion with stability and he is proud to be a part of the fastest growing company in the music business. He has traveled across the country to visit various manufactures and consult on products. He's certified in a variety of music technologies and guitar companies. Outside of music he's raising a wonderful family, fishes, plays guitar, and has a special place in his heart of vintage video games and pinball.
