Program Title:   Environmentally and Culturally Sustainable Local Economic Development in China

Program Description   This program examines economic development in China, and considers the extent to which this economic development is sustainable in terms of the Chinese environment, culture, social order, economy, and political system. Students will visit Shanghai, Xi’an, Beijing, Shenyang, and Dalian to study developments in different parts of China, and will get a chance to meet students at ISU’s partner universities in Shenyang and Dalian. We will visit company and government agency offices as well as major historical and cultural sites in these cities.
