Finance Minor

Description

The online minor in finance is an excellent way to increase employability and supplement skills and abilities. The understanding and management of the financial interests of businesses, non-profit organizations, and individual investments is fundamental to the growth and success of the world's economy.

The online finance minor includes 15 credit hours of coursework in areas such as financial principles, investments, theories and practices of corporations, financial institutions, and international business. This blend of coursework, combined with a Scott College of Business major, provides a sound foundation for professional positions in financial services.

Courses in this minor are taught by full-time faculty in the Scott College of Business. All courses are offered online. On-campus visits are not required.

The finance minor is only open to Scott College of Business majors. Courses in the finance minor may satisfy requirements in the business administration major.
