University Speakers Series

The University Speakers Series, established in 1980, brings to campus each year an outstanding array of nationally and internationally known speakers to meet with faculty and students and to address the general public. Each year, the University Speaker Series brings to campus an outstanding array of nationally and internationally known speakers who have distinguished themselves as scholars in specific areas.

The primary goal of the Series is community outreach – inviting people to join the Indiana State campus community for an informative and entertaining evening. In addition to the main presentation and reception, many speakers interact with students and faculty in other settings, such as panels, informal discussions, seminars, and classroom visits. Other Training Opportunities

National Training Organizations

This section lists national employee development organizations who occasionally offer training seminars and workshops in the Terre Haute, Bloomington, Evansville, and Indianapolis areas. Many ISU departments have training dollars set aside for department development opportunities and these national organizations offer a wide-range of topics that we may not have available. We highly encourage employees to visit these organizations’ websites to broaden your employee development opportunities.
