About the Program

Cancer Research SeminarMore than 14,000 high school students have completed seminars, earned credit, and jump-started their college education during the 49-year history of the Summer Honors Program.


  • A variety of seminars are offered each year.
  • Seminars are conducted by the University's most experienced faculty.
  • Students experience residence hall and campus life living.
  • Upon successful completion of a seminar, students earn one (1) college credit that can be applied to an ISU degree or transferred to other select universities.

Dates / Location

All Summer Honors 2019 seminars will be held on the Indiana State University campus, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. Summer Honors 2019 will be July 14-20, 2019.

Residential Camp Only

Students are required to stay on campus for the duration of the week-long program. There are no exceptions. Students will be living in air conditioned residence halls with private restrooms.
