Employee Relations

Employee Relations provides guidance and information to employees, handling sensitive employment issues related to employee performance, attendance/leave, conduct, development, and needs by providing daily consultative assistance and service to managers/supervisors and employees. Employee Relations also assists with preventing and resolving issues involving individuals that arise out of or affect work situations.

  • Disciplinary issues and procedures
  • Recognition of service awards
  • Confidential consultation
  • Facilitate dialogues related to employee/employer issues
  • Provide fair, reliable, and effective resolutions in a timely approach

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Counseling services are offered to Indiana State University benefits eligible employees and their dependents through the ISU Psychology Clinic, along with off-campus options.

Training & Professional Development

ISU is committed to the success of all employees by providing services to support, promote, and enhance professional and personal development. Our goal is to provide learning opportunities that assist in the continued growth of the University by maximizing the performance of individual ISU employees, teams and departments. We offer learning and development opportunities and resources, tailored training programs, and consulting services.

Wellness Program

Employee Wellness is committed to helping improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of all Indiana State University employees and family members.  We offer diverse programming that is available to support your wellness goals throughout the year.

Workers’ Compensation

Indiana State University maintains a self-insured plan. Our goal is to obtain the appropriate medical treatment for employees who experience job related injuries and to insure that employees return to work as soon as medically practical.  All employee injuries should be reported to 24/7 Triage by calling (844)454-1143.  24/7 Triage will direct the care for the injured employee.
