Description

The Fair is open to musicians, especially flutists, of all ages and anyone else who is interested.

Of special note for the community, is Jim Walker’s recital at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in Boyce Recital Hall.

8:30 a.m: Registration
9:00 a.m: Warm-up with Angela Reynolds, State flute professor, Lisa Wolynec, bring your flutes
9:00 a.m: Exhibits Open: Burkart Flutes, Flute World, Flute Specialists, closes at 4:30 p.m.
10:00 a.m: “Expand the Horizons of Your Flute Playing” with Jim Walker
11:00 a.m: Performance Anxiety Workshop with Elizabeth Diaz
11:15 a.m: High School Soloist Competition
12:00 p.m: Lunch and visit the exhibits
1:00 p.m: Collegiate masterclass with Jim Walker
3:30p.m: Faculty and friends recital featuring flutists: Tatiana Cassetta, Kathryn Holley, Lisa Wolynec and Angela Reynolds
4:30p.m: Jim Walker and Martha Krasnican in the recital, Boyce Recital Hall
5:30p.m: Reception with Jim Walker
