Description

"Thinking, Fast and Slow" is an award-loaded best-selling book publishedin 2011 by Daniel Kahneman, the renowned Nobel Prize winner in Economic Sciences. This book has been widely read and discussed by educators and researchers across universities and book clubs in the US. The vivacious cases enumerated in the book demonstrate two fundamental approaches of thinking. It\'s a great book to introduce to students and faculty on how to think critically and statistically; and avoid being trapped in cognitive biases that often come in more appealing packages. The presenter is Dr. Haijing Tu.
