Our Financial Aid Office is available to students with questions about their cost and aid. Below are the steps to apply for financial aid for Indiana State Online programs:

  • STEP 1: Students should apply for aid prior to (or simultaneous with) applying for admission to Indiana State. For instructions and an online application, go to www.fafsa.gov. Please note the federal school code for Indiana State University is 001807.
    Note: Students may attend Indiana State and another institution simultaneously—and receive aid to cover both schools. A Consortium Agreement is required. For details, see taking classes elsewhere.
  • STEP 2: Once admitted to Indiana State, students can check their financial aid status by logging on to the MyISU Portal.
  • STEP 3: To continue to receive aid, students must meet satisfactory academic progress requirements and apply for financial aid each year.
