Employee Wellness is committed to helping improve the health, well-being and quality of life of all Indiana State University employees and family members. We will create and support an environment designed to promote improved health by encouraging personal and university investment in the eight dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, occupational, environmental and financial.
Inspiring and empowering individuals to take responsibility for their own health.
Encouraging employees to make healthier lifestyle choices and participate in wellness programs.
Assisting in development of a variety of wellness initiatives and programs.
Evaluating efforts in health promotion and disease prevention.
Providing information on preventative care, fitness, nutrition, health screenings, and other wellness related topics.
Increasing awareness of factors that contribute to physical and mental well-being.
The Employee Wellness Cooridnator is supported by the Office of Human Resources and the members of the Employee Wellness Committee.
