Statesman Towers Demolition 1 Designed by Ewing Miller and Associates and built by the F.A. Wilhelm Construction Company in 1968, Statesman Towers were dedicated on April 17, 1969. Statesman Towers Demolition 2 The west building was converted to classrooms and faculty offices for the then School of Education in 1977 and the east in 1981 to house the School of Business. Scott College of Business, Federal Hall Opening

To understand some of the signage you should remember that Indiana State Normal School was formed in 1865. In 1929, it was renamed Indiana State Teachers College. The year this film was made, 1961, it was renamed Indiana State College and became Indiana State University in 1965. Some of the buildings shown are gone now, some very recently, but many are still in use. (1961, 15:54)
